[Bricks by the Bay News] Hotel reservations now available

Rates are $105 (a fabulous price for a high end hotel such as the Hyatt
Regency!) single/double occupancy for 3/24 through 3/27.  (They quoted an
additional $25 for triple or $50 for quad in our contract, but I didn't see
those options when I made my reservation.)  Additional nights before or
after should count toward our goal of 200 room-nights, but you might not get
that rate (if you're coming from out of town, I recommend doing this - we
might have rain in March, but it won't be very cold and I'm sure we won't
have snow!).  I just made my reservation for Thursday through Sunday (3
nights).

In addition to the great hotel rate, we have the following special offers
available to those staying at the hotel:

   - $10 discount on convention fees (limit one discount per room) - be sure
   to record your confirmation number!  The registration system for the
   convention is not yet online, but I'm trying to get it done this week.  The
   confirmation number should be an 8-digit numeric value.
   - Free wifi in rooms and hotel lobby (sorry, no free wifi in the
   convention space).  Normally they charge about $10/day for wifi in the rooms
   and lobby, but our attendees get in free.
   - Half price on Regency Club access ($25 instead of $50).

If you made your reservation through another means, and/or didn't get the
$105 per night rate, let me know and I'll try to get the hotel to fix it.
But whatever the case, make sure we have your confirmation number, so we can
be sure to get credit for all the rooms.  Our deal with the hotel hinges on
filling 200 room-nights, so every one helps.  (In 2010 we had about 170,
which just barely met that hotel's minimum.)

Note also that if we are wildly popular compared to last year and sell out,
you might not be able to get that rate, or may need to stay elsewhere.  So
don't delay, register today!
