where and how much? how many venders? will you have Brickarms accesories? special guests?

  2. Will Chapman

Confirmed. BrickArms will not be attending.

  3. Daniel Siskind

Brickmania WILL be attending and of course I proudly feature BrickArms accessories in my kits whenever possible!

^^^ Addendum to my previous comment. A broad selection of individual BrickArms will also be available from the Brickmania table, as we have just been officially sanctioned to act as surrogate BrickArms representatives for this event.

Daniel if you are going to be selling at the event make sure you have the proper forms to do so since you will have to be registered with the alameda county board, abroad spectrum sellers permit will not work.

What’s the procedure for bringing MOCs to display?

When will sign ups for the public expo be online? Do you feel the entire convention would be worth taking a 10 year old to that is a huge Lego fan? Thanks

Most 10 year olds would probably not be well suited for the full convention. Some teenagers who are very adult-behaving might do well, but 10 is pretty young. If neither of the parents is an avid LEGO hobbyist, I’d suggest just coming for the public day.

We’ll probably put signups for public day online in a few weeks. Be sure to get on our announce mailing list so you will hear about it in advance. There may be a small convenience fee charged for advanced signups to cover our costs.

Plz add me to your email list as a member of the public. Thanks. PS – heard about the convention while at a model train con in Daly City last weekend.

I’m with Alejandro on his original comment. The location of the event should have appeared prominently in the Public Expo announcement, for those of us in the non-LEGO public ranks who don’t automatically “know” that this is where the event will be, have heard about it for the first time, and are interested in attending.
